We recognize that many anglers exist within modern state systems (Canada, USA), but our goal is to have our identity and responsibilities recognized as we were prior to colonization.

Black Bass World Championship

Turtle Island Anglers is honoured to be heading to the 2026 Black Bass World Championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Lake Hamilton.

This world-class bass fishery will welcome nations from across the globe, and the southern charm of Hot Springs and the surrounding area will help create lasting memories for all attendees.

We extend our sincere thanks to the World Black Bass Association for recognizing and supporting the mission of Turtle Island Anglers. Our vision is to bring people together through the shared love of fishing while honouring the waters, the lands, and the relationships that connect us across nations and generations.

We could add our selection criteria for the World Championship
Which is top weights for 2025 tournament in Nackawick and who could attend.

USAngling, in partnership with Visit Hot Springs, will host and support the successful production of this championship, and we look forward to celebrating sport, friendship, and mutual respect on the world stage.
